This vs That

A dear friend of mine did this not too long ago on her blog and I have so many things to be thankful for and rather than focus on the hard and frustrating things in life, I want to remember all the good things..so I'm going to copy her a little!
I have never done so much laundry than I have in the last few weeks..
but I am so grateful to have a working washing machine and dryer!
I have never wanted to get out of this apartment so bad..
but I have never been so eager to get back to this apartment
I have never gone this many days without makeup or doing my hair..
but I sure am saving a lot of money and not damaging my hair
I wish Nick wasn't in his last and hardest semester so he could be here more..
but when he is here he gives our little guy so much lovin
I wish it wasn't so cold here..
but the sun is sure pouring in today
It would be nice to talk to an adult every once in awhile..
but I am so lucky I GET to be with this little guy all day long, we're pretty good buddies

Our lives have surely been tipped upside down since adding Ryan but we love it..(most of the time) I have never felt this way before and I love being able to have this opportunity. I have so many things to be grateful for. My boys are healthy and strong and LOVE to eat. Nick is doing awesome in school and is almost done. We have so many good friends and family for support. There are times when I feel so inadequate to raise this little boy but I have come so much closer to my Heavenly Father through constant prayers that I know I have help. the kid is hungry again..happy friday!!

We made it!! The delivery went so awesome..well as I have been told compared to most people..She broke my water at 1:30p.m. and I gave birth to a cute baby boy at 5:11 p.m.! He weighed 7 lbs and 3 oz and 19 1/2 inches long. Not as much hair as we though he'd have and not as dark but we still love him! He is all his dadddy as far as looks go. My coach, aka Nick was great through it all and continues too, when he's not doing the BYU fight song with our newborn's hands!! We came home from the hospital last night..and well I wish I still had all those fantastic nurses to help me with this little guy! Needless to say I am REALLY tired. Sure love this little boy. Here are a couple pics for now, don't have as much time as I used too!! Enjoy.

Showers, presents, holidays, and then..we wait!

The last month has gone by so fast. I was lucky enough to have two showers, one in Logan and one in Idaho. We got lots of cute stuff from both thanks to all those who attended. Then we made it through Christmas and New Years. Christmas was at my parents this year and it was quiet w/just us being there but still fun. Sadly, we didn't take any pictures to capture any of the festivities. New Years was uneventful with me being sick with a nasty cold. I am just going to plan on someone in our household to be sick on New Years. And finally..we made it to less than a month mark for this little guy to arrive..I had my first check up..you know the check up where they actually check "up" ya nice huh and I am moving right along with the process being 80% effaced and dialated to a 2 1/2. Which yes could mean I will stay this way for weeks but it also could mean he's coming sooner than planned! Oh and the doc also predicts a 6-7lb baby so I was pretty happy to hear I wouldn't be having a 10 lb baby like Nick!! My doc said I need to "take it easy" for the next couple of weeks. Right. Like I have time to "take it easy" with a babe on the way! Other than that..Nick is back into school and still working. Here are a few random pics...

Life is moving right along as to be expected. We have received mounds of snow and have braved awful winter driving to get to Idaho and back. Thanksgiving came and went (even without seeing my parents since Lu kept them all to herself)this year but it still included yummy food, family and way too much football watching! You would think that I could be Santa this year with my massive belly but none the less..I still have 9 weeks more to go to get even bigger!! But I am pretty excited to be down to single digits in weeks. Nick also likes to remind me EVERY day that my stomach is HUGE. We also are still thinking of names to call this little one that likes to kick/punch me ALL the time!! I still find it rather weird/creepy to sit and watch my stomach move all over the place. But back to the names, I of course have lots of names that I like but my dearest husband is pretty stubborn and keeps threatening me about changing it at the blessing! Top 5 are: Landon, Ryan, Spencer, Will, and Jackson. Any takers on any of those?


The newest niece on the Ramsey side..(Kylee Jo) she was 5 days old in this picture and Nick was just loving on her the whole time we were home!! She is a pretty cute baby...

AND... HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MOMMA WALL TODAY!!!

Halloween!

Halloween Party #1
We decided to go to our ward party this year and it was really fun to see all the different costumes..and we had yummy bread bowls w/soup!! AND! We won the "Scariest Costume Award"! It was great..and it was a scary costume.

We were invited to a Murder Mystery dinner and it was our first one so we weren't sure how they went but it was really fun and we had good food there too!

of the most random posts..

well..not much else to say after that last post eh!? Ya I would have to say I would still be in denial of it myself if my belly wasn't expanding as it is..(sorry folks..no pictures of that!) But..I would like to let you all know that I have been diagnosed with momnesia..yes it is very similar to amnesia but this happens to you when you become a mom..or almost a mom! If you have experienced any of the following you may want to go get checked as well.. to name a few..left my purse in the shopping cart and started to drive away. lost my phone..more than once but today was the best since it was in the parking lot for more than 5 hours and didn't get ran over! it's never a question of what time it is..its always bedtime, forgot to put on mascara/eyeliner/and who knows what else. can't remember where i put anything. those are just a few of the symptoms of mom-nesia. And a happier note..Nick and I had the opportunity of gutting..(is that a word)? yes gutting our dryer. and putting it back together more than once to get rid of this annoying squeaky noise! it took more than 4 hours..to say the least it's fixed for the time being! Oh! I decided to include a couple pictures from the summer since I never did put them up before..due to mom-nesia but just have to since they are a must..oh and usu beat byu!

Oh Family!!

Here is my dearest family..a pic where everyone is there..a pic that we haven't had in over 6 years.. a pic i love more than anything..even if some of the kids aren't looking or smiling! what a good lookin family!!

A little bit of everything...

It has been a long time since I've posted anything good so hopefully I can throw a few pics together and fill up some space with my rambling. The summer is just rolling by and Nick hasn't had much to enjoy of it!He has been working a lot..I on the other hand have been able to go to Idaho a couple times and hang out with family. I went home for Memorial Day and 4th of July and a couple siblings were there so we had a good time fishing and going to the parade and playing outside! Nick and I were able to go to some friend's and have a barbecue at their new house! We played this fun dance game on their Wii and boy we got some good videos of that...we won't be putting any up though. We did get a chance to sneak away for one day..but it was still a day to hang out with his family at Bear Lake! It was a beautiful day and our burnt skin is still feeling it! We hope it will recover fast for this upcoming weekend for my family reunion! My nephew Ethan was baptized this last weekend and I went down to Gunnison for that which was fun but sorry no pics to show for! I have also been able to go to quite a few garage sales this summer as always..other than that..the hot July I always remember is finally here and I wish I could be in a pool all day!
