Fair Weekend

Well if you have ever been to the good ol cassia county fair you know its always a good time. Maple bars are always worth standing in line for..even if it was for 45 minutes! Knowing you'll see half of your high school friends...hearing the announcer at the rodeo say "Well folks all he's gettin tonight is your appreciation, come on burley!" (that's when the bull riders get bucked off before 8 seconds) Anyhow...Nick and I had a great weekend. We went camping with a bunch of "married friends" from high school and it was a good time except for that darn Idaho wind made it really cold! We then went to our friend Cindy's wedding reception at their amazing house and yard! Seriously..7 acres of the greenest grass you'll ever see! It probably has something to do with them owning a huge sod farm. She looked so pretty and happy! We then went to the fair and got to hang out with some friends that we haven't seen in awhile...It was a good last fun weekend before school starts up and now its back to the books..atleast for Nick!

Kyle and Meg sitting by the fire..does he not look like Jim Carey off of Fun with Dick and Jane!?
This is us defrosting the meat for tin foil dinners on the dash of a car..ya we're not redneck at all!Jimmy..enough said.
Cindy the beautiful bride and me!

Ericka and Camden at the fair..boy did he love those maple bars! Gotta teach them young!
Casen had a good time too..only cuz grandma made him smile!

And..of course Travis and Nick trying to be cool with their serious faces.

Someone's Gettin Married!

Last weekend a few of my friends and I met in Salt Lake and had a "bachelorette party" for our friend Cindy Lou! She is getting married this next week so we went to dinner at Olive Garden which was yummy and then went to the movie The Proposal. We then had her open her presents when we got back to the hotel. It was fun to get together again and catch up!

Only one more to go and we'll all be old married people!

FaMiLy ReUnIoN!!!

We recently got back from my family reunion that was in Albion, Idaho! Sounds fairly boring but it was the complete opposite! There was a pool, a hot tub, a big blow up slide and bounce house and lots of space for everyone to run around on. My parents booked this place last year when they first opened up and since then the price has jumped 3 times higher so we most likely won't be going there again but we had such a blast. Today Nick and I had the day off since we live in Utah and Pioneer Day is a state holiday we decided to go to Lava Hot Springs. It was raining on and off most of the day so we decided to just rent tubes and float down the little canal thing they have which was still fun. There are some parts that the rocks stick up quite a bit and if you're not paying attention they'll scratch the crap out of ya! Poor Nick got scraped up pretty good. I almost forgot about the 4th of July..Nick had to work so I went camping with Mom and Dad which was really fun..I love Lake Cleveland! Nick and I also went to the fireworks here in Logan...we are thinking the firework budget was cut quite a bit this year since they only lasted exactly 10 minutes! Lastly..I chopped my hair! Thanks again Ericka!

This is where we stayed...ya it was really nice!

Nick was a little too tall to stand up on the slide so that's why he looks like he is in pain!

Lava Hot Springs!
The rock that scratched Nick...this is one among the four
Happy 4th of July..Ericka and Casen came for lunch up to Lake Cleveland!

Happy Pioneer Day! We didn't know what else to do after the fireworks ended so abruptly so we took a picture of ourselves!

2 Years and Still going Strong!

June 23, 2007 Nick and I got married. Yes we made it to two years can you believe it!? We went out to dinner and watched Australia...love that movie! Happy Anniversary darlin!

Bear Lake

My sister Lu and her kids and I went to Bear Lake and played in the water and just had a couple hours of fun in the sun! We all wanted to stay longer but little Addi wasn't the easiest to handle with her stuffing her face with sand! We did get a little pink on the shoulders so good thing we didn't stay any longer than we did!

Wasatch Back..

I did it! Well..actually WE did it! I can't believe it is done and over with and let me tell you it was a lot harder than I thought it would be but it was so fun. After losing my first toenail due to the running..(my second one will be coming shortly), a good week of NOT running, I have mostly recovered from the big race. I loved all of my teammates and it was fun to meet new people along the way from logan to park city. There were some definite crazy's dressed up in anything and everything from indian dresses to people just wearing diapers!! My first leg was a "knee jarring" as the call it 7 miles downhill. I actually enjoyed the downhill it was the 3 more miles on flat that kicked my butt! Then my second leg was around 11:30 p.m. that was 8 miles..that was a gradual uphill..sick nasty is what it was! My last leg was a whopping 3 miles but I still wanted to die at the point! All in all I recommend this fun, hard, tiring, crazy race to anyone! It is so fun to be with a team while doing it because everyone is gross and sweaty and we all were so tired so we could all relate! Here are a few pictures..I was told I'm pretty intense while running..not the most smiley person! I really did have fun though! I sure hope I can do it next year! In case you were wondering how far it was..188 miles! Here are a few pictures.

Last but not least...the toe without a toenail!

Lots of Pics for Lost Time

Well time has flown in our household the last couple months. Nick pleaded with me that he not take any classes this summer and for some odd reason I gave in so he is just working full-time for the summer and will start the nursing program in the fall. I am still doing the same things as always but have been getting in a lot more miles of running in than usual since I'm training for the Wasatch Back. I'm not sure I will live to see the days after that race so I have already told my what things my sister can have after I die! Lets see here...well Memorial Day weekend was great, atleast for me it was! Nick had to work all weekend so I said see ya later sucker! I went camping with my parents and bro and his kids. We had fun fishing and sitting by the campfire for the one night the weather permitted us to. I got my first "farmer tan" of my life during that weekend. Growing up I always rolled up my sleeves or was wearing a tank top but not this time. My sister has been here from Oklahoma off and on between Utah and Idaho and we have enjoyed spending time with her and her kids. Nick was able to attend our friend's sealing in the Twin Falls temple a month ago or so as well. The latest addition to the Wall side of the family is Jacob Lee Wall. My brother and his wife just had a baby boy just a couple weeks ago and we have yet to see the new little guy but can't wait to meet him!

Justin and Dad just chatting after a long night of rain!

Kira (my niece) is so cute and is all girl and wanted to wear makeup even when we were camping!

Caleb (my nephew) caught the biggest fish out of all of us! He loved fishing but he didn't like touching the worms too much!

Jimmy holding up the dress..not sure he knows what he is doing!

Mr and Mrs. Jimmy Lee Jolley for the first time! Her dress was gorgeous..atleast in the pics!

Layla (my other neice) loves to be pampered and also loves Nick and gets real nervous around him!

Lu and Me and Adeline at a mexican restaurant
This is Adeline and she is so adorable..look at those cheeks!

The newest member of the Wall clan, baby Jacob!
